Apply to test

Help test Vexa —
cervical dystonia with DBS.

Testing is small on purpose: a first group of up to 30 people with cervical dystonia and a DBS system, so every tester gets a real reply from a real person. Applying takes two minutes. If you're accepted you'll get an invitation from Apple TestFlight by email, usually within a few days.

Please read before applying. Vexa is a monitoring tool, not a medical device, and the severity numbers it shows are experimental — consistent, but not yet validated against clinical scales. It will not tell you what to change and should never replace your neurologist's judgment. The programming log, session history, notes and report are solid and useful today; the measurement is what you'd be helping us validate.

About you
Use the address tied to your Apple ID if you can — TestFlight invitations go to it.
Your condition and treatment
Testing is currently open for cervical dystonia with DBS. If you choose another condition we'll keep your application and contact you when that condition opens — you'll also be added to the launch list.
Your equipment
Vexa reads the motion sensors that only AirPods Pro (and Max) carry. Regular AirPods won't work. Not sure which you have? The Pro has silicone ear tips.
Check under Settings → General → About → iOS Version. There is no Android version.
Sharing data
This is what makes testing useful: exports are how we check the measurement against real people. It's optional, it's pseudonymous (no name or email in the file), and it has its own consent step later — this question just tells us where you stand. What sharing involves →
